Exploring for Copper, Lithium and Nickel

Resource Mining Corporation Limited (ASX: RMI) is an independent Australian minerals company advancing a portfolio of prospective exploration projects focused on the definition of battery minerals in leading mining jurisdictions.

We have a portfolio of prospective projects in Tanzania and recently acquired two high quality copper-gold projects, Mpanda and Mbozi, located within the prolific Ubendian Orogenic Belt of Western Tanzania.

The Company also holds three projects in Finland, including the Kola Lithium Project, where an exploration permit has been granted, and is adjacent to the high-grade Keliber lithium project currently in production.

The company has a highly experienced and credentialed board led by Asimwe Kabunga as Executive Chairman, who has strong ties to Tanzania.

Copper

A single EV can use over 80 Kgs of copper, as it is used in the electric motors, batteries, inverters, and wiring. With the EV industry accelerating,  annual copper demand is expected to increase from 25 million tonnes today to over 36 million metric tonnes by 2031.

Lithium

The main driver of the forthcoming surge in demand for lithium ion batteries will be car manufacturers releasing more Electric Vehicle (“EV”) models and the rising use of renewable energy requiring greater use of energy storage technology. Commodity Insights forecasts growth in lithium demand of 368 percent to 2030.

Nickel

The market use of nickel will diversify over the next decade from high-grade steel required for skyscrapers and transportation networks to meet global demand for battery-grade nickel. The battery industry’s market share of nickel consumption will rise to 26 percent by 2030, according to analysts of Commodity Insights.

New Projects – Mpanda and Mbozi

RMC recently acquired two copper-gold projects, Mpanda and Mbozi, located within some of the most prospective ground within the Ubendian Orogenic Belt, also containing prolific high-grade mines including Katavi Mine and Luez Hill.

Southern Projects (Liparamba, Kitai & Mbinga)

The Southern Projects (Liparamba, Kitai & Mbinga) all host ultramafic lithologies over considerable strike lengths with noted Ni anomalism confirmed. Previously explored by BHP/Albidon and Jacana Resources.

Recent drill program at Liparamba identified Ni-Cu sulphide mineralisation, and Mpinga soil survey indicates a large geochemical anomaly.
